AWE Meditations

Daily AWE offers a growing collection of contemplative meditation journeys, each written with a distinct purpose, tone, and spiritual objective.

These journeys are intentionally different from one another. Some are rooted in ancient wisdom, others in reflective themes or contemplative practice. Each is designed to speak to people where they are, recognizing that every person has unique questions, longings, goals, and ways of relating to the spiritual life.

You are invited to explore and choose the meditation that resonates most deeply with you—or to participate in more than one. There is no required path and no single starting point.

Over time, additional Daily AWE meditations will be added, offering new ways to engage Awareness, Wonder, and Experience/Enjoy/Engage as your journey unfolds.

Below are our current meditation offerings.

The Wisdom Journey

A yearlong daily meditation grounded in wisdom, reflection, and spiritual depth.

The Wisdom Journey is a foundational Daily AWE meditation offering that accompanies you through the rhythms of an entire year. Drawing on ancient and contemporary voices—mystics, philosophers, poets, scripture, and lived human experience—it offers daily reflections that invite greater clarity, presence, and meaning.

This journey is contemplative rather than instructional, inclusive rather than dogmatic. It is designed for those who desire a gentle, consistent spiritual rhythm that can be lived alongside
everyday life.

Best for:
Those seeking a spacious, yearlong meditation rooted in wisdom, reflection, and Awareness, Wonder, and Experience.

Desert Awes: Sayings of the Desert Fathers and Mothers

A yearlong contemplative meditation rooted in early Christian mysticism

Desert Awes gathers the ancient wisdom of the Desert Fathers and Mothers—early Christian seekers who withdrew to the desert for silence and simplicity in search of an undivided heart. Their brief, penetrating sayings speak with honesty and clarity about humility, inner struggle, compassion, and union with God.

This meditation journey is quiet, grounding, and transformative, inviting you into deeper attention and interior freedom. Rather than self-improvement, Desert Awes offers a pilgrimage of presence—one that trusts the slow, compassionate work of God.

Best for:
Those drawn to contemplative Christianity, ancient wisdom, and interior spiritual transformation.
